HELLOOOOOO ice cream stuffed donut...where have you been my whole life!?
Seriously my two favorite things donuts and ice cream! They heat up the donut nice and toasty and add any ice cream you want. It was heavenly! Love this place! -

It is a chain, but they do have some excellent gelato. I tried a few of their flavors and went with the Chocolate sorbet. It was really good, but I gotta say, over $5 AUD for one scoop was quite a bit more than other places in the area with equally as good gelato if not better. One in particular I was able to get two flavors for less than one scoop here. That is the main reason for 3 stars instead of 4. Plus, the service was ok, not bad, not exceptional.

I see gelato/ice cream places all over Sydney. The mango gelato tastes amazing. It deserves the award it received. I want to try more favors!!!!

Gelatissimo may be a massive chain but when it gets to the Bondi Beach store it's all about the experience.
Step 1. Locate the store
Step 2. Spend 10 minutes salivating over the HUGE selection of gelato and sorbet flavours. Seriously: Biscotti, Pana Cotta,Tiramisu,Profiterole, Passionfruit, Guava, Green Tea....
Step 3. Choose between cone or cup.
Step 4. Select the number of scoops and flavours
Step 5. Take your selection across the road and find a spot to seat on Bondi Beach and indulge your senses with a great view and an amazing tasting icecream.
For me an icecream at the beach is as good a tradition as fish 'n chips at the beach - only better!
